Created in partnership with Dardo Studios as part of a VALORANT pitch project centered around Phoenix. This piece explores a surreal visual journey through character animation, atmospheric effects, and cinematic compositing, transforming the original illustration into a dynamic and immersive animated sequence.

/WHAT I DID
Prepared and separated the artwork for animation, then built Spine 2D rigs for the character and all surrounding eyes, creating flexible setups for expressive motion and seamless integration within the scene.
Animated the character and all eye elements in Spine 2D, focusing on performance, secondary motion, blinking, gaze movement, and environmental interactions to bring the illustration to life.
Transferred the animated assets into After Effects for final compositing, VFX integration, and adaptation of frame by frame effects. Combined all elements into a cohesive sequence, refining atmosphere, lighting, and the overall visual presentation.
